Porsche has officially launched the Cayenne SUV in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show 2010. While the Cayenne is widely known as a work vehicle, the German automotive manufacturer has a version of hybrid and fuel-efficient diesel from Cayenne 2011.
The outside of New Porsche Cayenne following the philosophy of design evolution, but the 2011 model does not have a more slender appearance than the current Cayenne, thanks to a line of organic body.
With a redesigned interior, following the Panamera, the new Cayenne sport 2011 has a console and shift-key position better. Overall, almost everything has been refreshing and tweaks, including the placement of the center air vents, gauges and a sporty new steering wheel.

The boast of five trim levels in 2011 separately by gas, diesel and hybrid drivetrains. Range Cayenne Cayenne started out in the form of basic, featured 300 horsepower 3.6L V6. Hybrid Power for the Cayenne S comes from Audi’s supercharged 3.0-liter V6 producing 333 horsepower, connected to a three-phase synchronous electric motor that receives power from 38 kW NiMH battery which is domiciled in the spare tire well. Horsepower electric motor adds another 47.
S Cayenne Hybrid is able to walk up to 40mph on all electric power, with a system that allows for a complete divorce from the driveline gas engine with speeds up to 97mph. release makes it possible to “slide” show, which reduce drag and increase overall efficiency.
Diesel Cayenne features a 3.0L diesel unit producing 240 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque.
Although fuel economy has never been a strong suit for the Cayenne, Porsche has much better fuel consumption in that range for 2011. The base Cayenne now achieve 23.7mpg in combined cycle fuel economy of the Cayenne S ‘rose 23 per cent to 22.4mpg combined. Cayenne Turbo Fuel economy is up to 23 percent the same as impressive, now calculate the combined 20.4mpg.
Not surprisingly, the Cayenne S model fuel Hybrid is the most efficient in the lineup in 2011, returning 28.6mpg. Diesel Cayenne is not far behind, achieving 25.3mpg combined.
After his debut Geneva, 2011 Porsche Cayenne will hit the UK market’s first on 29 May. The base Cayenne will retail from £ 41,404 – £ 3,449 more than this model – means we can expect a starting price of around $ 50,000. That number seems about equivalent to the current base price of the Cayenne is $ 45,500. The range-topping Cayenne Turbo will bring the price of £ 81,589, or approximately U.S. $ 102,000.
